Jaguar S-Type Bluetooth Pairing Fix & Phone Connection Guide

This quick guide provides the exact procedure to connect your phone for hands-free calls in your Jaguar S-Type.

The Quick Pairing Procedure:

  1. Activate Car Pairing Mode: On your radio or touchscreen, use the phone keypad to enter ##3#*# and press the [Send] button (the green handset icon). The system is now in ‘discovery mode’.

  2. Phone Discovery: On your mobile phone, go to Settings and turn on Bluetooth. Scan for new devices. Select ‘Jaguar’ when it appears.

  3. Enter PIN: When prompted, enter the default pairing PIN: 1313.

  4. Complete: Confirm the connection.

Critical Limitation: The factory system is for calls only. If you want Jaguar S-Type bluetooth music streaming, you need a solution. The original system is incapable of playing audio from apps.
