Jaguar XJ-S (XJS) 1996 Fuse Box Diagrams

The Jaguar XJ-S (later XJS) is a grand tourer built from 1975 to 1996 as a coupé, cabriolet and convertible, with the 5.3/6.0 V12 and the AJ6 3.6/4.0 straight-six. It carries four fuse panels: a main and an auxiliary panel on the component panels inside the car, and two under-hood panels known simply as the black and the white panel.

The box outline on this diagram is drawn from photographs of the actual fuse box; ratings and circuit descriptions are verified against the fuse table for this model year. The twenty-two positions sit in two rows of eleven; F1–F11 run along the top row and F12–F22 along the bottom. That order is confirmed on two separate physical panels by matching the fuse ratings visible in the photographs against the factory table — 19 of 22 agree on one, 18 of 19 on the other, while the mirrored order and the right-hand panel both fall to a third of that. The drawing keeps the orientation of the photographed panel; how it is turned once fitted in the car is not shown by any source we have.
