Terms of Service
Last updated: September 28, 2026
1. Who we are
jagaux.com is run by JAGAUX OÜ, registered in Estonia — registry code 16454335, VAT EE102916678, Ahtri tn 12, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia. Email: [email protected]. JAGAUX OÜ is the seller for orders paid by card or Klarna; orders paid with PayPal are sold by ALEXANDER DRACHAN PR, Serbia — see section 3a. These terms apply to every order placed on jagaux.com. By placing an order you accept them. The Jagaux Doctor service has its own terms further down this page.
2. What we sell
Electronics, retrofit and conversion kits, and small parts for classic Jaguar cars. Fitment depends on the model, model year and audio system of your car. Please check the compatibility information on the product page before ordering, and write to us if you are not sure — we will gladly confirm the right part before you buy.
Our products are connected to the car’s wiring. Install them following our instructions, or have them installed by someone who is comfortable working with vehicle electrics.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars (US$), or in euros (€) if you are visiting from Europe. If you pay from a card or PayPal account in another currency, your bank or PayPal converts the amount at its own exchange rate and may add a conversion fee. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Our prices do not include import VAT or customs duties of the destination country — see our Shipping & Delivery page. Payment is made at checkout by card or Klarna, processed by Stripe, or by PayPal (see section 3a). Your order is accepted when payment is confirmed; we then send you a confirmation by email.
3a. Orders paid with PayPal
Our PayPal account belongs to ALEXANDER DRACHAN PR NOVI SAD, a sole proprietorship registered in Serbia — registration number (MB) 67239768, tax number (PIB) 113988713, Katolička porta 6, 21000 Novi Sad, Serbia. Email: [email protected].
- If you pay with PayPal, your contract of sale is with ALEXANDER DRACHAN PR, not with JAGAUX OÜ. Everywhere in these terms, “we” then means ALEXANDER DRACHAN PR.
- Everything else stays the same: the products, prices, shipping from Serbia, the 90-day return window, the 1-year warranty and support at the same email address.
- Such orders are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection given to you by the mandatory law of the country where you live.
- Refunds for PayPal orders are made back through PayPal.
4. Delivery
Orders are shipped from Serbia with tracking. Delivery options, times and costs are described on the Shipping & Delivery page, which is part of these terms.
5. Returns, warranty and your right of withdrawal
You can return any item within 90 days of receiving it, and every product has a 1-year warranty. The details are on the Refund and Returns Policy page, which is part of these terms. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you also have the statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of receiving the goods; our 90-day policy includes and extends it.
6. Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live. In the EU and EEA the seller is responsible for any lack of conformity of the goods that appears within two years of delivery; UK customers have their rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you. Apart from that, and as far as the law allows:
- we are not liable for damage caused by incorrect installation, or by using a product in a way or in a car it is not intended for;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of use of the car, towing, or lost time;
- our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
8. Content of this website
Texts, photos, instructions and videos on jagaux.com belong to JAGAUX OÜ or are used with permission. You may use them for your own car; please do not copy them for commercial use without asking us. If you post a review or comment, you confirm it is your own and allow us to show it on the site.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia; orders paid with PayPal — by the laws of Serbia (section 3a). If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection given to you by the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country. If something goes wrong, please write to us first — we will do our best to put it right.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
Jagaux Doctor — terms for the fault-analysis service
Last updated: 11 October 2026.
Jagaux Doctor is provided by JAGAUX OÜ, Ahtri tn 12, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia (registry code 16454335, VAT EE102916678). Contact: [email protected].
If you pay with PayPal, the seller of that purchase is ALEXANDER DRACHAN PR, Novi Sad, Serbia (registration number 67239768), and the contract for it is governed by Serbian law — see section 3a of our Terms of Service. The service you get and these terms are otherwise the same, and the consumer protection of the country you live in still applies.
1. What Jagaux Doctor is
Jagaux Doctor is a written opinion about a car fault, produced from what you tell us. You get: how serious it looks, what we think is going on, ranked by how cheap each one is to check, a step-by-step checking procedure, and a list of parts not to buy yet.
That is the whole product. It is worth being blunt about what it is not:
- It is not a repair and not an offer to repair.
- It is not an inspection. Nobody from Jagaux sees, hears, drives or measures your car.
- It is not a roadworthiness assessment, an MOT or ITV opinion, a valuation, or evidence for an insurance claim or a dispute with a garage.
- It is not a substitute for a qualified person looking at the car. It is meant to make that visit shorter and cheaper, not to replace it.
2. An AI does the reasoning
We say this on the page before you start, and we repeat it here because it matters: the analysis is written by an AI model from your description and our reference material — manufacturer technical bulletins, wiring and fuse data, public complaint records, and cases collected from owner forums and videos.
The model argues well and it is often right. It has not seen your car, it cannot measure anything, and it can be confidently wrong. Every step it gives you is a hypothesis to test, not an instruction to obey. If a step contradicts what you can see in front of you, trust what you can see.
Fuse numbers, ratings and layouts vary by model year, market and engine. The report may show a drawing of the fuse box with a position highlighted; read the legend on your own fuse box before you pull anything.
We do not accept photographs, so everything the analysis knows about your car is what you typed and what you picked from the lists. Describing the symptom carefully is the single thing that most improves the result.
3. Safety — the part we will not soften
Brakes, airbags and the SRS system, steering, the fuel system and high-voltage components are not forum material. If our analysis touches any of them, we say so in the report in plain words. When it does:
- Do not treat our text as clearance to drive the car.
- Do not work on those systems unless you are competent to do so and have the correct procedures and tools.
- Get the car to a qualified person. If you are not sure whether you are that person, you are not.
If you have any doubt about whether the car is safe to drive, do not drive it. Have it recovered.
Some of our advice comes with warnings attached — the order in which a battery must be disconnected and reconnected on these cars, the fact that the boot may not open with the battery out, the difference between a temporary measure (pulling a fuse to stop a pump draining the battery) and a repair (the car is then without ABS and stability control). Those warnings are part of the advice. Acting on half of a paragraph is not acting on our advice.
4. What you are responsible for
- The description. The analysis is only as good as what you put in. Leaving out a recent repair, a jump start, or something you plugged in last month can send the whole reasoning the wrong way.
- The decision. You choose whether to act on any of it, and you carry the result. So does whoever works on the car.
- Your own safety and other people’s while doing any of it.
- Warranty, insurance, lease and local rules. Work you do yourself can affect all four. We do not know your situation and cannot advise on it.
- The car’s legal status. We assume it is yours, or that you have permission to work on it.
5. No guarantee of result
We do not promise to find your fault. We do not promise the cause is on our list, that the cheapest check will be the one that finds it, or that following the procedure will make the car work.
We do promise to reason honestly from what you gave us, to say when we do not know, and to tell you what not to spend money on yet.
If you buy a part because our analysis pointed at it and the part turns out not to be the fault, that purchase is yours. The report is written so that the cheap checks come first precisely to keep this from happening — but it will happen.
6. Availability, free and paid
What you get, free or paid, is an Expert Jaguar Diagnosis: one fault on one car, worked through from what you tell us and written up as a report — the likely causes ranked, and a procedure to check them, cheapest first — as a page and a PDF. A diagnosis bought in advance as a credit is the same thing, used later.
- Free: every diagnosis is free if you are willing to wait — it opens 24 hours after you ask. A free diagnosis needs an email address, to send you the link and, later, one question about the result. A small daily limit per connection stops abuse.
- Paid: pay to open a diagnosis at once. Prices are charged in euros or US dollars, depending on the country you are visiting from, as elsewhere on jagaux.com; the currency and amount are shown next to the Pay button before you pay, and that is what is charged. If you pay for a diagnosis that is already waiting, the payment opens that one.
- Rewrites: a paid diagnosis includes up to three rewrites. If, after reading the report, you add or correct something on your own report page, the report is rewritten around it at no extra charge. A fourth and any later rewrite is paid again, as a separate Diagnosis Rewrite.
- Diagnoses bought in advance (including packs bought earlier) are good for a year from the day you buy them. We use the oldest credit first. Credits you have not used by then expire; if that happens, the refund terms say what we do about it. A credit is used at the moment you describe a fault with the same email address, not at the moment you pay.
- The Doctor service keeps only a one-way hash of your email address; the shop order keeps the address itself, as any order must.
- There is no service level and no response time commitment. A diagnosis usually takes a few minutes. We can pause, limit or switch off the service at any time: it runs on a daily cost ceiling and has a stop switch, and both exist so that a runaway bill cannot take the whole site down.
- We may refuse or stop a diagnosis: abuse, automated submission, attempts to use the service for something other than diagnosing a car, or content that does not belong in it.
- Refunds are covered in our refund and cancellation terms.
7. Your report, and what we keep
Your report gets a link of its own, and it has no expiry date. People pass these links on — to a garage, to a friend with the same car, into a thread where they asked for help — and search engines may list the page in time. A link that dies a year later is worse than no link.
The conversation behind it is kept privately for 180 days after your last note — to rewrite the report if you add something, and to check our quality — and is never published; we do not collect a VIN. What stays online is the analysis and the type of car, not you.
Deleting it is your own button, on your own link. The personal link you get with the report has a delete button on it, and that is the only way the page can be removed: we hold no name, and the email address behind a free diagnosis is kept only until it is delivered and you have been asked once how it ended, never as a way to identify you afterwards — so we still cannot check that a request to delete comes from you. If you never press it, the report stays up and anyone with the link can read it and rate it.
Anyone who has the link can read the page. That is what makes it shareable, and it is worth knowing before you share it.
Anyone reading it can also leave a rating on it: whether the analysis helped, and what actually fixed the car. Yours is marked as the owner’s when you use your own private link; everyone else’s is marked as a reader’s. We may remove a rating that is abusive, off-topic or advertising, and nothing else.
8. Sources, and what we do not publish
Our reports cite manufacturer bulletins by number, so you can check us. Cases from other owners are summarised as our own analysis of real owner cases, without naming where they were found.
We never reproduce the source itself. No bulletin text, no scans, no forum posts, no transcripts. Only our own account of what it says. We do not own those documents and we do not hand them on. If you want the document, go to whoever publishes it.
Facts are not ours either: a fuse number is a fact. The report text, the ranking, the procedure and the drawings are ours — you may keep them, print them, and share your own report page, including on a forum. Please leave our name and address on it. You may not resell reports or run the service on behalf of others as your own product. If you are a workshop and want to use it with customers, pay for the diagnoses you run — and note that you remain the professional responsible for whatever you then do to the car.
9. Limitation of liability
- We are liable for what the law does not let us exclude, and we are not trying to exclude it. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
- Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected by anything in this section.
- Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost time, towing, hire cars, missed work, loss of use, or parts bought that did not fix the car — and our total liability for a diagnosis is limited to what you paid for that diagnosis.
- We are not liable for work done on the car by you or by anyone else, whether or not our analysis suggested it.
10. Consumer rights, law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Your statutory rights come first: if anything in these terms conflicts with the mandatory consumer law where you live, that law wins and the rest still stands. If you are a consumer in the EU, nothing here takes away your right to bring a claim, or to be sued, in the country where you live.
11. Changes
We can change these terms. The version that applies to your diagnosis is the one published when you started it.
